Inchmarlo Retirement Complex donated over £538 following a presentation for Dr Mike Steven in May 2008.
Banchory West Church raised over £896 on an evening in May after attending a talk about Helambu from Dr Mike Steven. A further £174 was raised at a follow up talk on the 25th November - ‘Love on Wheels’ by Sandy and Mike.
St Ternans Rotary club kindly donated £300 from their annual fundraising towards the project in July 2008.
The Banchory division of the British Legion donated £100 on the August weekend in 2008 when they hosted Ghurka soldiers from Nepal.
