Jerry McDonald and Callum Wilson from Johnstone and Carmichael   Accountancy Group  kindly donated toward the project. Callum, who lives in Banchory, first met Mike through the local Deeside rugby club and on learning more about the work of the project, discussed the issue further with his partners. This in turn led to a cheque for £600 being handed over to Mike Steven in July 2008

This Aberdeen based off-shore drilling company very kindly offered a donation of £611 to the helambu project In January 2009. This money was raised through staff donations and a Christmas raffle. They also prepared a very classy plaque to be displayed in the school. The hope to make this a regular annual fundraising event which would be enormously helpful in supporting the ongoing employment of teachers.

This undertakers firm in North East Scotland decided to swap Christmas gifts for helambu donations , resulting in £200 being donated towards the project in December 2008. You can read the Deeside Piper article here

Imprint printing services in Banchory decided in 2008 to donate the money (£75) normally spent on Christmas cards to the helambu project instead. Similar gestures were made by other local orginisations and individuals, with over £250 being raised towards the project in place of spending it on Christmas gifts

Talisman Energy whom operate a number of oil platforms in the North Sea very kindly donated £900 to date. Thanks to the hard work and persistence of Stephen Morrell, a Talisman employee and friend of Mike Steven, the Buchan Alpha Platform have donated £300, Montrose Alpha Platform £250 and the Beatrice A Platform £150, with a further £200 coming from Stephen himself
