2nd Banchory Brownies

The Brownies are doing a number of fundraising schemes for the Helambu Project this year.

Brownie Home Skills badge

The girls are rolling up their sleeves to work to help mum and dad around the house in April and May. Their parents will donate £1 for each for a variety of housework chores which include tasks such as cleaning shoes, cleaning the car and laying the table every day! Following a talk by Mike Steven in March the brownies are aware of the harshness and hard work of daily life faced by the Sherpa people in the fields and villages of Helambu

The Banchory Rainbows, the Girl Guide group for 5 to 7yr old girls, held a fitness day on the 23rd September in support of their Nepalese peers raising £94.
